Led by our Acro Certified In-House Faculty Member, Bradi Nelson
Allow your dancer to explore the exciting world of acro in a fun, encouraging, and safe environment!
ADA Acro classes will be based around five pillars of growth: Strength, flexibility, limbering, balance, and tumbling. Classes will be structured to increase the capabilities in all five areas. Because dancers will likely come in with varying degrees of experience, the skills learned in class will also vary.
Dancers can expect to improve their existing skills and potentially learn more advanced variations.
The curriculum to be followed emphasizes safe progressions, allowing dancers to build their foundation before executing more advanced skills.
Not sure which level is right for your dancer?
Take a peek at our level breakdowns below!
ACRO I:
Acro I will focus on limbering skills such as learning and perfecting bridge recovery and kickovers. Learning and perfecting cartwheels, handstands, headstands, and increasing your flexibility and balance.
ACRO II:
Acro II will focus on limbering, front and back walkovers, including walkover variations. Balancing such as headstands, chest stands, handstands, and extension and scorpion progressions. Tumbling skills such as handsprings and aerials. Building overall strength and flexibility.
*PLEASE NOTE: evaluations will take place over the first 2 weeks of class to ensure all dancers are in the correct level.
