Alisa's Dance Academy is dedicated to providing a positive, caring, professional dance environment which encourages the growth of well-trained, confident elite dancers Alisa's is staffed with the highest qualified instructors who are committed to helping students develop life skills, dedication, technique and performance ability while maintaining excellent customer service, making Alisa's Dance Academy the ultimate dance studio experience.

ADA Faculty Family

Alisa and Brian Laraway are the proud founders and owners of Alisa’s Dance Academy. They work very hard to bring to The Academy dedicated, well trained and qualified instructors. Each instructor is trained with Alisa to insure proper technique is being taught in a manner that upholds the Academy's standards. Teachers are encouraged to attend as many dance conventions, conferences and classes as possible to continue their education and stay up to date with new dance styles and technique. Each individual staff member gives something wonderful to each student at ADA and to the Austin community. You can view and read about each staff member on our faculty wall, located in the studio lobby, or visit our website. The Academy hopes you give its staff the opportunity to teach and show you and/or your child the awesome and beautiful art of dance.

The Facility

The studio is centrally located in the hills of Austin in the suburbs of Westlake and Rollingwood Hills. The over 5,500 square foot facility consists of a spacious and inviting lobby/waiting area with five studios, each with free floating maple or marley floors, wall-to-wall ballet barres, full length mirrors and state of the art sound equipment. The dance floors are designed specifically for the dancers protection to help prevent injury and/or future spine and joint problems. Each classroom is equipped with closed circuit cameras with monitors located in the studio lobby for classroom viewing.

Austin’s Dance Elite (ADE) is The Academy’s National Champion Youth Dance Company. ADE is a select group of committed and disciplined dancers who have the privilege of performing for many different events and functions, competing and attending dance conventions in different venues year-round. “ENCORE” is the company’s annual concert where teammates showcase their achievements. It is one of the most highly anticipated events of our Dance Season!

Alisa’s Dance Academy, also houses the most eclectic and diverse professional dance company in Austin. Verge Dance Company (VDC) is a union of popular music, current dance trends and theatrical style. The goals of the men and women in VDC are to expand and reach out to the dance community by presenting the performing arts in a form that attracts even the non-conventional theatergoer. The company dedicates itself in offering an outlet for the local dance talent to create and stage unique works as well as contribute to educational opportunities for the broad dance community.
