Allison Beaty
Alisa's Dance Academy Instructor
 Allison Beaty is a dance artist, choreographer, and teacher currently based in Austin, TX. She holds an MFA in Dance (Choreography) from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and a BA in Dance with Highest Honors from Texas Tech University. Allison has been dancing for 24 years and has performed, taught, and choreographed professionally throughout Texas and North Carolina. She was a performing company member and choreographer with Flatlands Dance Theatre, and has performed in works by renowned choreographers such as Renay Aumiller, B.J. Sullivan, Janet Lilly, Ali Duffy, Brooklyn Draper, Amanda Jackson, Trent D. Williams, and Nicole Wesley, among many others. Allison currently teaches dance at Austin Community College, the University of Central Missouri, and Alisa’s Dance Academy. She has previously taught at Ballet Lubbock, Artistry in Motion Performing Arts Center, Synergy Dance Studio, and the University of North Carolina Greensboro, among others. Her choreography has been presented at numerous concerts and festivals nationally in Texas, Florida, and Iowa, and internationally in Mexico and Ireland. Allison is excited to share her love of dance and knowledge about safe, healthy dance practices with the students at Alisa’s!
