Lexi Eicher
Alisa's Dance Academy Instructor
Lexi Eicher is a current professional dancer in her second season with Ballet Austin II. She grew up in Fort Wayne, IN where she began both her dance training and her teaching career. She spent seven weeks at the Chautauqua Summer Intensive where she worked closely with Patricia McBride and performed in George Balanchine's Rubies with the Charlotte Ballet. In 2021, she graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet & Psychology. During college, she performed works by renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Martha Graham, Jerome Robbins, and Christopher Wheeldon. She also took three years of ballet pedagogy courses. She moved to Austin in the fall of 2021, and performed in Ballet Austin's The Nutcracker, A Midsummer's Night Dream, and Swan Lake during the 2021-2022 season. She is beyond excited to be teaching again, this time for the wonderful students of Alisa's Dance Academy!
