CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Alternative Adult Ballet: Ballet infused with up to date alternative and contemporary music and movement.

Ballet: An artistic dance form characterized by grace and precision of movement and elaborate formal technique.

Centered On Technique:  This year-round class is offered for the beginner to advance dancer.  The structure of the class is centered on improving technique and to expand knowledge in a variety of jumps and turns.

Drill Team: An intense prep clinic to help improve student’s flexibility, precision and dance skills, in preparation for drill team try outs.

Hip Hop: A funky energetic street dance style from NY and LA, with a jazz based technique.

Introduction Pointe: A Pointe preparation class for the advanced ballet dancer. *Must receive instructors approval.

Jazz: Stylized theatrical dancing based on many other forms of dance and influenced by American Jazz music.

Little Dreamers: Developed as a learning tool to help children ages 3-5 explore their imagination and fine tune their skills. Filled with tons of activities like ballet, tap, tumbling, singing as well as arts and crafts, our goals are to develop preschool fundamentals. We offer encouragement with social awareness, coordination, rhythm, and most of all self assurance in a fun, loving and motivational environment.

Lyrical: A contemporary style, combining a ballet and jazz technique which expresses personal emotion and passion.

Musical Theater: Provides students with the opportunity to learn about and experience all aspects of Musical Theatre  by studying acting, voice, dance, improvisational skills and to improve stage presence.

Pointe: An extension of ballet for the serious advanced dancer. *Must receive instructor’s approval.  

Tap: Presents various rhythms made by movements of the feet. Develops timing, rhythm and coordination.
